Organ concerts in November and December 2026

The new organ of the Cathedral of the Divine Saviour in Ostrava will be blessed on 22 November 2026 at 10:30 during a solemn Mass celebrated by Bishop Martin David (broadcast live by TV NOE). The inaugural concert follows at 15:00, performed by Martin Sturm from Germany. Admission to the concert is CZK 500.

Two organ concerts follow, both on Sundays at 15:00:

• 29 November 2026 – Concert of Moravian Cathedral Organists (Petr Kolař, Karel Martínek, Lukáš Kubenka)
• 6 December 2026 – Concert of Young Ostrava Organists (Tomáš Sommer, Mikuláš Jančálek, Štěpán Novotný)

Admission to both organ concerts is CZK 350. Tickets are available at the cathedral information centre, where you can pay in cash, by card or by QR code. You can also make a temporary reservation by phone at +420 730 588 112. More about tickets
